[Who are you?]
My name is Joel Stokvold, I’m 38 years old and live with my family in a small town in Kungsbacka municipality. I recently joined the Onevinn family as a Security Analyst, and I’m excited to continue developing within the world of cybersecurity.
[What background do you have?]
Before moving into cybersecurity, I spent about 15 years working as a carpenter and experienced most aspects of the profession along the way. Changing careers has been a big step, but also an exciting one. I enjoy learning new things and challenging myself, which eventually led me into cybersecurity.
[What is your passion?]
I’m passionate about learning and developing, both professionally and personally. Cybersecurity has become a big part of that. It’s a field that constantly challenges my curiosity, especially because threats and techniques are always evolving. There is always another problem to understand or something new to learn.
[What do you do in your spare time?]
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends and travelling whenever possible. There always seems to be another project waiting around the house as well! More recently, I’ve discovered MTB and downhill, which has quickly become a new hobby. And of course, there’s padel, which gives me the perfect mix of exercise, competition and spending time with friends.
[Why Onevinn?]
My journey with Onevinn started as an intern during my studies. When the internship came to an end, I was offered the opportunity to stay and become part of the team, and honestly, it was a no-brainer. After making a major career change, I wanted to be somewhere I could keep learning and growing. At Onevinn, I’m surrounded by talented and experienced people who inspire me to develop, challenge myself and become better at what I do.
