[Who are you?]
My name is Heinz Borchmann, I’m 42 years old and live with my family in a house just outside Hörby in Skåne. I recently joined Onevinn as an Information Security Consultant, and I’m looking forward to focusing fully on information and cyber security.
[What background do you have?]
I’ve been interested in IT my whole life and have now worked in the industry for over 20 years. For many years I worked hands-on with technology, mainly identity, servers and storage in Microsoft environments. For the five years before joining Onevinn, I was IT manager at Unikom, the shared IT organization for six municipalities in Skåne.
[What is your passion?]
I’m driven by development and continuous improvement, learning new things and finding solutions that make things better. In cyber security, what fascinates me most is the interplay between attackers and defenders: understanding how threat actors operate, and how to build protection in environments that are becoming increasingly complex and ever-changing.
[What do you do in your spare time?]
Ideally, I spend it with my family. Beyond that, there’s rarely enough time for everything I want to do. I work out regularly, enjoy movies, TV series and books, and have a big interest in technology that shows up in everything from home theater, sim racing and 3D printing to home automation, self-hosting and AI.
[Why Onevinn?]
I’ve known people at Onevinn and worked with them for many years, and I’ve always looked up to the expertise here. When it was time to try something new, Onevinn was a natural choice. I wanted to be somewhere I could focus on information and cyber security while working with the best.
